The institutionalization of the structure, staffing and the responsibilities of the service of the MoD’s Integrated Administrative Sector was one of the main priorities once I assumed my duties as Special Secretary of the Ministry of National Defence in September 2016, since it constitutes the main coordination tool for the management of the affairs concerning all employees of the MoD’s General Staffs. In addition, along with the elaboration of the Organization for the civilian personnel of the MoD, it marks the beginning of a new era in the field of management of affairs involving the Ministry’s employees.
It is a joint service that was designed, to meet on one hand the requirements of contemporary management, in the frame of the administrative reform that is currently being implemented in our country, and on the other hand, to deal with the problems of employees, through a system of detection of needs in various areas that relate to the working life of the MoD’s civilian personnel.
The regulatory representation of the Integrated Administrative Sector constitutes the implementation of the philosophy of MoD’s political leadership that moves towards the direction of an integrated approach to the personnel management matters, which combines the mapping of its needs with the design of those tools that will form the framework for the optimum operation of the Ministry’s services.
In conclusion, I would like to invite the entire Civilian Personnel of MoD to “treat” the service of the Integrated Administrative Sector as the central point of reference for the management of all matters that involve them and its website as the main platform of dissemination of related news and information, as well as of communication with the Special Secretary’s bureau and the service.
